In the upper left corner click on the Menu button.  The left-hand side panel will display, and you will see icons corresponding to the different apps and workloads available on TIDWIT. The first three icons correspond to the Users section which is explained in the User Manual<\/strong>. The remaining icons are only visible with an administrator profile. If you can\u2019t see them and you are an administrator, ask your TIDWIT portal administrator to give you the required permissions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Events and Webinars Main Page<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To go to main page, place the mouse pointer over the Event and Webinars <\/strong>icon, click it and you will be redirected inmediately. The first thing you will see is a list of all the created Event and Webinars <\/strong>to date and some of its properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create a new Event<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To create a new event<\/strong>, click on [ +<\/strong> ] plus button on the upper right corner of the screen then click on New Event<\/strong>. A new window will be shown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fill in required information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Write the Name<\/strong> of the event<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Event Type<\/strong>, there are two types of events you can choose from the drop-down menu:\n
      \n
    • Online Event<\/strong> allows you to add the external URL to be used to stream the online event<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Webinar<\/strong> allows you to add the external URL to be used and pre-select the conferencing system (Must have been previously created)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • External URL <\/strong>is the online transmission access link<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Set the Start Date <\/strong>to define when the event will start<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Set the End Date <\/strong>to define when the event will finish<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Publish Date <\/strong>specifies when the event was officially released<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Retirement Date <\/strong>specifies when the event will be officially removed<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Select the event’s main Language<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • From the drop-down menu select the Publisher<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Write a Description<\/strong> for the event, this field is optional<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Upload a Thumbnail, <\/strong>this field is optional<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
      <\/div>\n\n\n\n

      The description and thumbnail will appear in the event’s main page, in parallel with the button that users can use to join\/register<\/strong> to the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Click on the Save <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Event Recording<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Click on the Event Recording<\/strong> tab The live event recording process is performed by providing the URL of the recorded event and selecting authorized users to access the recording.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • All Users<\/strong>: All users, included those who did not participate in the live event, can access the recording.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Registered Users Only<\/strong>: Only users who participated in the live event can access the recording.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Email Templates<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        Click the Email Templates<\/strong> tab and choose which email template you want to use for the Event Registration Confirmation email, and for the Event Reminder email. These templates can be fully customized under Node Settings > Email Templates<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Note<\/strong>: Users who have opted-out to receive platform emails will still be able to access the event via the platform notification center and\/or under My Activities<\/strong> and\/or via the Event URL<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Click on the save button and then on the publish button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Create a new Conferencing System<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        Click on [ +<\/strong> ] plus button on the upper right corner of the screen then click on Conferencing Systems<\/strong>. A new window will be shown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Click on the Add<\/strong> button and fill in the required information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        You can choose between two types of conferencing systems integrated with TIDWIT, which are: StreamYard<\/strong> and Zoom<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Stream Yard<\/strong> is a video platform that allows creating, distributing and analyzing audio visual content. It offers tools to create, share and measure the performance of such content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Zoom<\/strong> is an online communication platform that offers videoconferencing, virtual meetings, chat and real-time collaboration services. Allows you to organize meetings, virtual courses, webinars and other activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Click on the save button and close the wizard. The new conferencing system will be created right away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
