Para crear un nuevo elemento de contenido desde la ventana principal del ECM, haz clic en el icono azul de suma (+) que se encuentra en el lado derecho de la barra de b\u00fasqueda. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cuando se despliegue el men\u00fa, haz clic en \"Crear\/Subir Elemento de Contenido\". Aparecer\u00e1 una nueva ventana con campos vac\u00edos que requieren informaci\u00f3n sobre el nuevo elemento de contenido que se va a crear.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Required and optional fields<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Fill in all required fields, such as the Title<\/strong>, Publish Date<\/strong>, if the content you are going to create is a URL<\/strong> you also must select the Source Type<\/strong> and insert the External URL<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the content is a File Upload, you must upload the content using the drag and drop functionality or by clicking on the Browse button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In both scenarios, you must choose the Asset Type<\/strong>, the Publisher,<\/strong> and the Language <\/strong>of the content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this section, choose the tag values that will make the Content Item easier to search & find by the user. The available tags must be created separately using the Manage Tags functionality (see the corresponding documentation).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thumbnail Section<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Lastly, upload a thumbnail image for the new learning path. For best rendering, the thumbnail should be 700 x 500 pixels, the following formats are supported: (gif, png, and jpg).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you have completed the information, click on Guardar<\/strong> and close the window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Library Mapping Section<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In this section, assign the new content item to an existing library. Click on 3 dots <\/strong>option and select Add to Library<\/strong>, a new window will pop up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select the library \/ Libraries that will contain the new content item clicking on the + <\/strong>(plus) button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will see the list of selected libraries and the option to un-map them. You can also opt not to map any library to the new content item.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Close the window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this section, select the retirement date for the new content item Click on 3 dots <\/strong>option and select Retirement<\/strong>, a new window will pop up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, check if the content item has replacement or not. If you check Yes<\/strong>, select the content item that will replace it after retirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haga clic en Guardar <\/strong>to save all changes made to the new content item but keep it unpublished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haga clic en Publish <\/strong>to publish the new content item with all its content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haga clic en Preview <\/strong>to open a preview of the new content item in a new tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
