S\u00e3o Paulo, August 13, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 Amazon Web Services (AWS) in partnership with TIDWIT, together with customers and alliances, announces the creation of AWS Treina Brasil (\u201cAWS Trains Brazil\u201d), a large-scale training program in artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing skills aimed at students, professionals, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and entrepreneurs. Partners in the initiative include Senai SC, Refuturiza, Cart\u00e3o de Todos, AllpFit, IBMEC, Alterdata, ETICE CE, the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education, Santander, and Santander X.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

AWS Treina Brasil plans to train 1 million people across the country\u2014free of charge and in the local language\u2014by the end of 2028<\/strong>, with the goal of preparing talent to accelerate digital transformation in companies and public sector organizations. This is AWS\u2019s largest national mass training effort in Brazil. Similar initiatives are also underway in other Latin American countries.<\/p>

Starting today, interested participants can register at https:\/\/awstreinabrasil.com\/<\/a>, where they will have on-demand access to digital content covering generative artificial intelligence, machine learning, fundamental cloud concepts, innovation and digital transformation, success stories, and more. The content ranges from basic to advanced topics, preparing learners for AWS certifications.<\/p>

Participants will receive a certificate of completion after finishing the training sessions and will have access to a comprehensive educational format that combines asynchronous content with dynamic live events. The program is designed to serve both individuals seeking to start a career in technology and established professionals looking to update their skills or make a career transition.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

According to the Future of Jobs Report 2025<\/em><\/a> from the World Economic Forum, the labor market is being reshaped by technological advances, the green transition, and economic and demographic changes. Technical skills are expected to gain importance more rapidly than others over the next five years, with AI and big data topping the list, and new professions emerging.<\/p>

However, a shortage of professionals with the most in-demand technical qualifications is currently the biggest challenge to innovation, according to leaders interviewed in the study Unlocking AI\u2019s Potential in Brazil<\/em>, commissioned by AWS from Strand Partners. \u201cThis is why we must join forces to equip talent with the skills needed for economic development and innovation, creating free and accessible opportunities from anywhere in the country<\/em>,\u201d says Cleber Morais, Managing Director of AWS in Brazil.<\/p>

Citizens surveyed in the study reported low confidence in their ability to manage their digital identity and online reputation, understand basic programming concepts, and use online learning resources for professional development. Only 10% said they had participated in digital training or skills updating in the past year.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
